The Nursery

From our garden to yours

Over the gardening year, we produce many plants using a range of propagation techniques. Come springtime, our large greenhouse is overflowing with seedlings and cuttings. These are destined for the garden or sold in our nursery.

We consider the garden a huge resource from which we grow a varied and interesting range of plants to sell. Most of these the visitors have seen growing in the garden and will have a good idea of how they will look when they mature.

Sustainability

When propagating, we use peat free compost as we aim to be as sustainable as possible. Even the nursery display benches are made from recycled apple boxes from a nearby orchard.

We have also recently made the change to using recycled pot plants meaning there is minimal waste produced from the garden.
