We got the opportunity to celebrate our wedding weekend here and it was like a dream. Literally nothing was amiss. Ronald thought of everything and was equally friendly and professional. The entire house was well cared for and felt so luxurious to our guests. Ronald and Judith created a gorgeous meal and breakfast for us. Loved staying here and wish we could enjoy the house many more days

Goodnestone House is an outstanding venue for the quintessential English wedding, with a beautiful village church just a short walk away through idyllic gardens. Our weekend stay with houseguests for a family wedding in October was glorious from beginning to end. With their recommended suppliers, including the Wedding Dolls, we had a magical wedding with literally no stress, just joy and laughter, with everything taken care of by the Wedding Dolls and Ronnie (House Manager) and his team. A few guests said it was like attending a Hugh Grant wedding, the setting and detailing were so beautiful.

We recently got married at Goodnestone Park and honestly had the most amazing experience.

We stayed at the house from Friday-Sunday. House manager Ronnie and his partner cooked us an incredible meal on the Friday. The wedding took place at the local church and then guests walked through the beautiful Goodnestone Park gardens to the back of the house where the views of the Kent Countryside were incredible. The wedding breakfast took place in the beautiful Orangery onsite.

The venue also came with the Wedding Dolls who were wonderful in the lead up and on the day - the whole day ran smoothly because of them.

The service at the house across the whole weekend was incredible. Ronnie was amazing and could not do more for us. We are so so glad we held our wedding here - Goodnestone will also hold a special place in our hearts.

Wedding venue of our dreams!!!

From the moment we found Goodnestone online, we knew it was special. After our first look round, we were hooked. We wanted relaxed, but elegant, and goodnestone delivered this in buckets. The gardens were beautiful and welcoming, the house cosy and grand. Instantly we were greeted like old friends by Ronnie, the gentle and unflappable house manager, who steadfastly ensured we got the best possible experience throughout the wedding planning process. Aided by the wedding co-ordinators, The Wedding Dolls, our planning and subsequent day was seamless and fairytale-like from start to finish. Our wedding weekend at Goodnestone spanned an early check in on Friday morning through to a late check out on Sunday, meaning we also had the pleasure of Judith and Ronnie’s cooking one evening. It was delicious and another gem in Goodnestone’s crown. Could not recommend Goodnestone and the team more.

Goodnestone Park blew us away as our wedding venue.

We took the house from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon and filled it with family and friends. From our first call with Tessa right through to Ronnie's management on the weekend it was the most delightful, easy and accommodating experience. We couldn't be more impressed or recommend them more highly. Every little detail is thought of and the house is simply incredible. Comfortable, beautiful, practical. It was bliss. Our guests couldn't believe how stunning the house, gardens and marquee are. We feel so fortunate to have made our most joyous memories at such a spectacular location and to have done it with the brilliant team at Goodnestone Park is a cherry on top! Thank you in particular to Ronnie, not just for being such a warm and wonderful host, but for his generosity and going above and beyond to make the weekend seamless and fun! A completely perfect experience.

Absolutely wonderful

Everything about our experience at Goodnestone Park was utterly fantastic. If you’re looking for a venue where you can live out your best Bridgerton fantasies, this is it!
Having exclusive use of this beautiful house and gardens, to share with our closest friends and family was wonderful. It felt like we’d escaped to a different reality and no-one wanted to leave.
The team who run Goodnestone are excellent, and couldn’t do enough for us and having the Wedding Dolls coordinating the wedding and suppliers was invaluable.
Goodnestone gives you everything you can need, but also allows you the freedom to add in your personal touches.
I just wish I could live there forever!

Amazing!

Our wedding at Goodnestone Park was more than I ever could have dreamed of. The venue is THE most stunning venue for a summer wedding, the gardens are immaculate and the new orangery is something so unique and special. The on site planners, the wedding dolls made the day run so smoothly and stress free, and Ronnie's (House manager) hospitality was second to none. If you are looking for a beautiful countryside wedding then Goodnestone Park is the place!
