An idyllic retreat

Just a few hours from central London, Goodnestone Park offers an ideal location for a corporate event.
Far removed from the fast pace of city life, your employees can enjoy an idyllic retreat
to the heart of Kent’s beautiful countryside.

The house at Goodnestone Park, built in the early 1700s, has a rich history with many of its original features and historical artefacts still present. Its beautiful rooms and breathtaking surroundings make it the perfect luxurious location for a corporate retreat.

Meetings and celebrations

If you’re looking for a quiet space, Goodnestone Park has many locations suitable for corporate meetings. The Dining Room is one of the grandest rooms with its opulent finish, perfect for a board meeting. Reception rooms such as the Jane Austen Room or the Drawing Room are ideal for more informal discussions.

If it’s somewhere to host a celebration for your employees that you’re looking for, Goodnestone Park is available for private parties. Our staff can cater for private dinners, drinks receptions and cocktail evenings upon request.

Networking and exploring

The Coach House offers a space for larger meetings, networking events and conferences and is located adjacent to the Old Dairy Café, which can provide lunch, afternoon tea or coffee and cake.

There are several countryside routes to explore, including the famous 18th century Serpentine Walk. Take a walk through history as the Serpentine Walk follows the path that novelist Jane Austen would have taken when visiting her brother, Edward. Edward married into the FitzWalter family, and Jane became a frequent visitor to Goodnestone Park.
